it shouldnt and wouldnt be Herc due to his alligence to Zeus.... Herc would be a good "boss" to fight though and would make for a good fight for kratos.
going with a sidekick that he could meet, how about Bellerophon... he is a hero who was originally a murderer, and was forgiven by a king, who's wife put into motion events that would lead Bellerophon to go from a pardoned murderer to a hero. He fights a beast which would be good in GoW... the chimera. and he is as cocky as kratos is... he is the tamer of pegasus (who we have seen) and he wanted eternal reckognition and immortality by going to olympus... but Zeus sends a bug to sting pegasus which bucks him off and falls to his demise..... with a slight tweak of him, kratos could have a partner for a small amount of time fo some manic fighting with many enemies swarming the place. and i also thought that kratos could relate to him what with the murder part, posibly opening up to someone and them saying he is right for once.

This is an obliviously stupid question. Multi-player is a high possibility, but the public knows nothing of this, now. And the way you guys are talking about it, you're acting as if it were going to be IN single-player, meaning that the player would be required to have another player to get past that section. I don't know how much of the games you guys have played, but Kratos doesn't give a ******** about anyone else, and sure as hell wouldn't want to work with anyone to gain hi revenge unless it was absolutely necessary, such as the Titans. Kratos isn't a people-person.

Its to a large degree obvious co-op is impossible with Kratos. BUT, hypothetically.... it would be the ship Captain... Kratos loves him...

Adragorn Gelsius This is an obliviously stupid question. Multi-player is a high possibility, but the public knows nothing of this, now. Kratos isn't a people-person. oh no no no, like i said, i think the 3rd game should only be single player, and only still have kratos to play the main game, i was suggesting a NPC sidekick. i know kratos is a manic-fed-for-himself-beast, but i'd like to see him WITH at least one person... i hate the cliche of being with a woman just cause he's a man to lead, and i hate even more the idea of him with a guy who is completely incompitant and needs saving, cause i would love a level where it is like a never ending flow of enemies which they both would fight (obviously you would need to make sure he stayed alive). The guy i suggested is someone who is sent to "be killed" by trials to make it look like an accident, but he is just too good, he defeats anything he faces, and that kind of character sounds like kratos was before his servitude. he is just as grumpy as kratos really and i think it would be nice for them to fight together, and its not so much kratos doesnt give a ******** about anyone, its that he has had to bury that under everything, since he is a spartan, and then it got worse after he killed his family (including the bonus videos in GoW1). XD its not like im wanting him to love the fact that he works with someone, and i totally agree he wouldnt want someone to steal his thunder for revenge, which is why the NPC i mentioned is even better, cause its zeus who kills him; and that would surely piss him off even more right? cause he'd remember what happened to his city, and the soldier he fourght with in the shadows. Also i think it would make for a good scene if he was to get to him while he is dying and he was to start asking the gods to spare him (like kratos) but kratos could either say you dont want to do that.. or cover his mouth to stop him from saying it, watching him struggle and die. and on a further thought, after thats done it could open up a subgame where you could play his trials out, to see how he got to the point of meeting kratos, or something

I see. Yet, it still doesn't seem like something that would work, or that SCEA would do with it. Kratos has been betrayed too often in his life to let himself befriend some stranger. And this brings to mind movies where there's a cop who only works alone, but then he gets paired up with someone, even though he doesn't want to. Then, he ends up liking the partner. Kratos isn't that cop, he's the guy who would shoot all of the other cops in the face before they even mentioned such a thing to him.

I'm honestly not sure. The way God Of War II ended, it seems like there should be one last, epic battle before Kratos exacts his revenge, but that would be a lame and short game. Whatever the case, I'm sure the team that has their hands on it is going to make it an amazing game, just like thae last two games.

what if zeus pulls off some cheapo move and sends you to the other end of the world? then you must battle you're way back to learn you''re titan allies were defeated. Leaving you to take out which ever gods remain? that'd be per' hardcore.
