Thanks to my 2 yr old son, Tobin, my keyboard was fried for several days. He spilled a whole glass of water in it. I wasn't able to post or anything. I was going nuts! But I now have a keyboard and am able to go back to being my normal nutty self instead of my insane nutty self. It feels good to be back! heart

heh i dont know how my keyboard survives through my little devil recently he spilt a whole sippy cup of milk on it... i sure hope it doesnt start stinking :s

lol! might I reccomend one of those pvc covers that they make for the foodservice industry? might be of help to shield spills and whatnot... and if you happen to be one of the folks who eat at the computer (like me.. ^^;; I snack here) , just pick it off and shake it into the trashcan! (personally, I vaccuum my keyboard about once a month... I tend to shed a lot of hair, and that gets it out. no, I'm not bald or anything, I just shed sweatdrop lol)

Keyboard covers are a great idea. However, finding one will probably depend on the company who made your keyboard since each one is a different size, shape, etc. You can try searching for "keyboard cover [insert manufacturer name of your keyboard here]" on google. Hopefully that will yield some results that will help. Ebay might not be as great, but you might find one knocked down in price slightly. But still... I would never buy a used keyboard much less a used keyboard cover. Simply because of the things that people do while on their computers. And no, I am not trying to gross anyone out. It is merely the truth. gonk

Well there are some nice used keyboards out there cause I see them all the time..... Personally I think my next keyboard will be wireless though... More freedom that way

I've bought used keyboards for a long while. Nothing like a $2 keyboard that last a couple of years or more. Disinfectant takes care of things.

Mystress_Athena Well there are some nice used keyboards out there cause I see them all the time..... Personally I think my next keyboard will be wireless though... More freedom that way I always have extra keyboards on hand I have like three in the back of my closet. and as for the wireless you will love it if you get one, the only bad thing is it eats batters so does the wireless mouse. make sure you get rechargeable. saves a lot of money.
