well hey all, i was just wondering something cuz my friend brought it up. see she hasn't seen any season 7 of buffy and was just kinda thinking about the ending, and she was saying that it'd be cool if they ended with none of it being real. like you know how in season 6 the nerds made buffy go all wiggy thinking that she was some mental person and stuff, well what if it ended where she actually is some crazy person and willow and dawn and everyone was really all just made up. all of it was actually in her head. that got me wondering like what if that really happened? i think it'd be really interesting but of course also very very crushing. like i'd probably die or something if that happened. and very confused. anyways, what are you're thoughts? okay i know i write rather confusingly but try and figure out what i said.

i think it would just ruin all 7 seasons of Buffy if it all is just a dream, definitely not a good idea

ittybittypeanut i think it would just ruin all 7 seasons of Buffy if it all is just a dream, definitely not a good idea I agree. If that really happened i would be so disapointed, like all those 7 seasons were for nothing.

When I saw that ep I cried, it was crushingly realistic and, I might have hated the ending or something. No...That ep was great as it was, because it was so believable for her, more so than the life she was living. 3nodding

I agree with you, throughout that whole episode I cried andI think if they had it so that it was all a dream... they would have had a lot of angry fans busting down their doors.

I loved that ep! Gawd it had me thinking. But if it was true that everything was in Buffys imagination, Angel would cease to exist. And since he had his own series, that would have sucked lol. But I really did like that episode alot. I missed Joyce heart Was almost as emotional as "The Body" eek

I think if they had had it end like that, it would have made for the best series finale, but it would have really weakened the rest of the series. On another note, since I'm thinking of it, does anyone besides me think that the season finale should have been two hours? I mean, just one for the entire end of Buffy! So not fair.

That's an interesting thought, but I think maybe the ending would have have been interesting if Buffy woke up and everything was a dream. Wow that would be one hell of a dream. It would be cool if they had made alternate endings of the show so you could see all of the possibilites but I'm happy with the current ending. Even though it would be interesting if the ending was imagined or just a dream I think would be kind of disappointed. I think the fact that it's real makes it easier to connect to the characters and watch the eppies more than a few times.

It would have been completely rubbish if they'd ended it like that. The whole thing was just the frenzied ramblings of a demented mind . . . well I suppose it was really, just Whedon's mind not Buffys.
It would have been like J.R. got killed in Dallas, completely lame, uninspired and a betrayal of years of quality work on the writers parts. (Except there wasn't any quality writing in Dallas)

I think it would be kinda sad if it all was a dream. I mean think about it. Buffy grew up so much during the series and she had the chance to meet her best friends Xander and Willow. It would be sad if all that friendship and good times was really nothing.

I think it would be a horrible ending, it would jolt fans way too much, but I loved that episode and the idea of it.
