I was just looking through Neo's thread about Paris Hilton, and I was wondering, had anyone heard of her before the sex tape scandal?
I know I hadn't, the name wasn't even vaguely familiar.
I know she's rich and all, but really, why was that such a big deal? I'm pretty sure she released it for publicity, but why did she get any? Did she pay the news to talk about it?
Also, who agrees that her voice is nowhere to be found on her album?

I haven't heard her album. So, I wouldn't know about the voice thing.
Paris was trying for years to get into the media actually. I only know that because some guy was joking about this rich girl always being at the red carpet and such but was never really involved in the media.
As for the sex tape scandal, that was probably done on purpose. I mean, now she has a "reality show", her own album, and has been in a few movies.

 i've seen it.
it was pretty retarded.
i was trying to download a movie that wasn't out on dvd yet.
& of course,
i got porn..
&& paris can't sing to save her life.
it's no wonder her albums aren't selling.
just the song stars are blind killed me.
having to listen to the whole album would be some pretty cruel torture right there.
