You can only have the limit of 2 legendaries in your party to battle someone unless you two agree on custom rules. This rule will apply to the tryouts and any other official battle though.

Psuedo-Legendaries do not count though. You can have as many psuedos as you want.

By Psuedo-Legendaries do you mean the pokemon that are allowed into the battle tower, such as the legendary birds?

Also, do you consider Tyranatar an uber or not?

I don't think tyranitar counts. Only the Uber legendaries like arceus, mewtwo, etc.

Thats what he means by Psuedo-Legendary
They usually come in threes
Like Azlef and them
Entei and them
and Zapados and them

And tyranituar is not an uber because it's a common pokemon in its fully evolved form (and besides, i use it)
