Okay, I'm sorry, but this game is actually one of my top games. and you know what IS my top favorite? Sword of Mana. I am a hardcore Mana fan, I have every game that has come out, except Secret of Mana, but sword of Mana is the remake anyway. I just want people to know that it can be a good game - and if you are bored about the whip and slingshot then you obviously aren't using some of the techniques they have mentioned in the game. You can really set off some big chain reactions. And what is one thing common thing found in every mana game? The use of weapons in a stratigic way to use to your benefit. You use the whip as a Flail, which is in every game, and the Slingshot is like a bow.
The only thing I am disapointed in is the fact that they use the same people.......but they are never the same characters.......for example, Moti. In Sword of Mana, he's a Shopkeeper. In Children of Mana, he's the mayor or something (I forget, COM is my least favorite - barely any mana attributes in it ) and in Dawn of Mana, he's a King. either he got some pretty good promotions or his character keeps changing.
