-Appearance-

Height: 5,10

Weight: 160

Hair: Long, but not very long, red hair. It doesn't fall to his shoulders and it naturally being straight he doesn't seem to brush it letting it be wild in it's growth.

Eyes: Both eyes blue.

Clothing: Of course he wears the shinigami outfit but he has edited it some. He has removed the sleeves, wears black arms bands around his wrists, and has earned a few tears here and there on the pants part of the uniform but has yet to mend them, if he ever will.

Then down on earth he wears some regular blue jeans, a studded belt, usually a gray longed-sleeved shirt with a black t-shirt put over it with DC shows on his feet.

Physical Description: Ryu doesn't seem to have an overly large build, but he isn't a stick either. Weighing in at around 160 pounds none of this goes towards fat or love handles. He is well built and toned making each extra pound of weight run towards being muscle.

Background: Unlike most in the Soul Society Ryu is a newbie. He was born in the recent times only twenty-years ago and had a little bit of a troubled life in the Rukongai.

He had a nice father, mother, and sister they wouldn't be abusive to their son or unloving in anyway. It is just came down to Ryu's personality, he couldn't deal with boredom, he needed freedom and excitment in his life. Being rather strong as a child he was quickly able to assemble a few other kids and create a mini-child yakuza station.

Though, being kind in his natural nature, Ryu didn't order any beatings or any shoplifting he merely planned adventures and the protection orders. For example say if little Billy is not that strong and is picked on by a group of kids, and little billy has to go to a store carrying money and very likely to get this stolen from him. Ryu would organize his group to act as 'bodyguards' for little billy to make sure he gets from point a to point b safely. Though of course this was for a price, most of the time dealing in candy.

This though made fighting not something new to Ryu and crafting a wooden sword of his own he made out pretty okay, only at worse breaking a bone in one fight. Though as he grew older his ache for excitment and yern for adventure pushed him to try as hard as he could to get accepted into the shinigami acedemy.

Personality: He is adventure seaking, but at the same time he has a calm attitude even in the toughest situations. Boredom he can't handle most of the time and has to be constantly doing something, but yet at the same time what he takes as boredom could be totally different then what someone else takes as it.(Boredom to him is more of something he dislikes to do and then he gets bored at doing it.) Kind in nature, he is assertive and likes to be as up-front as possible with people, though at times this can put other people off. He is not know to be fear-ful, but if he is not known to show it.
