Alright, I feel rather strange doing this, but I asked and got permission to make this. A Harry Potter Fan thread.
I ask that you put the spoilers in white and tell us so we can highlight it to read, if we wish. I, personally, have not read the sixth book, but I have heard about it. I am hoping to get the book soon, though.
Feel free to post anything you like about HP from your favorite characters, to the latest book/movie, to any info you may have on the next thing in the HP series :pleads:.
Oh, and I'll be doing a poll every week, just 'cause Im a poll whore :blinks:. Well, its true!

That double crossing backstabing s.o.b.!!!!!!!!!! He killed Dumbeldore. I HATE YOU! YOU HEARTLESS MURDING S.O.B.! FUMBLEDORE WAS THE BEST FREAKIN' THING THAT EVERY HAPPENED TO YOU! ARG!
I do not forgive him, even if he didn't want to kill Dumbldore he should have done the honorable thing and died.

Spoiler, Rant and answer to Oreparma:
It isn't his fault, gosh darnit! I mean, He didn't really have a choice in the matter. And HELLO!!! Slytherin!!!! Thier basic instincts are to survive no matter what. Take Harry for instance(he was SUPPOSE to be in Slytherin) Where do you think he got his 'i-just-wont-die' thing from? Its proven time and again throughout the books that a Slytherins first instinct is to protect him/herself, no matter what.
AND its been established that Snape is a spy. I don't think Dumbledore would have wanted him to 'cut his loses and quit', so to speak. I have a feeling he will still be helping, behind the scenes. I agree that Dumbles was likely one of the best things that happened to him, but think about it.
If you had the choice of, 1) killing your mentor/friend/peoso father or 2) dying/stop spying(for a group that desperately needs it, I might add)/various other things I can't think of right now, what would YOU do. And remember, it IS in his base instincts to protect himself first. And if you think Dumbledore didn't know it was likely that Snape be pressured to kill him eventully, your barking mad.

This is quite entertaining heart
*points bazooka at plushie* Dumbledore's the only one Voldemort every feard, Dumbledore dying is a whole lot worse than Snape dying. With Snape a spy is gone and Voldemort realized Snape has lied to him and in turn, doens't know how much Dumebledore now knows. But Dumbledore gone...
And just because Snape was in Slytherin doesn't mean he couldn't have known that Dumbledore was a whole lot more valuable than him. And don't forget that Snape had a look of hatred on his face when he cursed Dumbledore.
Snape is on the other side *graps plushie and lits match to it* BACKSTABBING DOUBLE CROSSER!
