The room gives off an eerie, yet mystical feel. The only light in the room comes from the many glowing vials and objects strewn about and candles mounted on the walls at varying heights. The walls are a deep violet-blue color, and are covered in drawings, notes, and calculations written in a chalky substance. Strewn across the floor are countless pages of the same and ancient books in many different languages. In one corner area lies a coffin surrounded by a crest etched into the floor, filled with various symbols. In another lies a gaudy, overstuffed, bright green couch, with a stone coffee table in front of it, covered with scorch marks and stains. A long table sits in a corner and stretches along both walls, the end towards the door longer. It is also covered with scorches, stains, notes, and alchemy equipment. Two huge black bookshelves occupy the spaces on both ends of the table and have ingredients and books occupying them. There are double doors into a large closet in the room as well, and inside the closet are many cages filled with a myriad of creatures, all making unique noises. There was no longer a main door into the room, only a doorway. There had been a door at one time, but the broken hinges and dark marks around the frame told that it met an unfortunate end.

Brigham walks in. Seeing Mina at her table he walks over.

"Hello, I'm Brigham"

He holds out his hand charismatically.

" Well I don't think many of my books would interest you, they being mostly literature, but let's see.............would this be of interest to you? I believe it is called 'Blood and Plant Alchemy'."

He looks it over. "Ahh, yes. Written by a Vivick Sohndi from Dehli. Perhaps you would like to borrow this? Oh, and would you mind if I used part of your lab for some genetic expirements?"

He hands the book to her, smiling nonchalantly.

Brigham smiles.

A few days later, Mina is standing on a chair, leaning over a large container of a glowing purple concoction, attempting to stir it. She grunts and exerts her every bit of energy into stirring, but barely moves the stirring rod as big as herself. "Darn it... This will never do... I better get assistance..." She then runs up to the ceiling and dashes out of her room, jumping to get through the doorway.

Brigham followed closely behind Mina, a smile playing across his lips. He saw the woman standing at the door. He looked down at Mina.

".............Hey Mina? You apear to have a guest............"

He watches the exchange by the two, then knocks upon the door frame, noticing the charred remains of what had once been the door laying on the floor nearby, in the hallway. I beg pardon for my interruption, but I have come to offer my services to assist you in whatever experiments you might be attempting... Though of course, that was not my initial intent when I arrived. In exchange for helping you, I would like to know if you have anything that might lighten or remove a hangover of heroic proportions that I fear my ever-so-intelligent Star will have by tomorrow morning, as she is a light-weight and quite thoroughly incapable of holding even that meager amount of alcohol she took in this night. He grins dryly at his comment over her intelligence, belying the sincerity of his statement, at least in regards to the alcohol she had partaken of.

Thank you, Mina. But, as I said, in exchange, I am quite willing to assist if you need, in any experiments you are working on currently. He slips the vial of liquid into one of many pockets in his pants, then returns his attentions to her. I'm sorry... Your name is Mina, right?
