Hair: Bald Eyes: Ice blue Clothing: Shinigami Academy Uniform, with the sleeves rolled up to his shoulders. Physical Description: A very muscular man who towers over most of his squad members at 8'10'', his arms and legs matching the size of some of their bodies. His hands and forearms are littered with scars from his time spent in Rukongai. His body is completely deprived of hair, including on his head and eyebrows, showing his caucasian skin. Appearance Background: - Pre-shinigami -While Masaru was a child, living in Rukongai district 67, his father was involved in an underground fighting circuit, where he fought others for survival, for himself and his family. He kept them alive this way. When his father wasn't fighting, he was teaching Masaru how to fight with his hands like a true champion, and trained him to make him stronger in various ways. Although the training was tough, Masaru knew that his father was helping him out, and he was very thankful. They had a typical loving father-son relationship when not training. At a time, Masaru's father was undefeated, and was pretty wealthy for a 47th district resident. This obviously led to some jealousy. A group of men came to their house in the night, and kidnapped Masaru, the only person left in his father's family. They took him to the underground fighting ring, and began to rough him up. But Masaru only took so much before snapping and retaliating, knocking out each of the three captors. By the time his father arrived, the men were out cold, and Masaru sat on the ground holding the bruises he had. That was when the boy was very small. As he grew older, his training grew more intense. His father had planned to put him into the fighitng circuit, remembering the occurance that one night. Finally, the day arrived for him to have his first fight. It was a tough first fight, not like the sparring matches with his father, but he emerged victorious. But unlike his father, he lost now and then, but it only made him more determined to win next time. The money from both his father and him made them very wealthy. One day, while Masaru was picking up food in the market, a shinigami passed him. The reiatsu he felt from him nearly paralyzed him. All he could do was look over to see what it was, and he was very curious. He began speaking with the shopkeeper, having him answer all of his questions about shinigami. Once he was full of knowledge, he ran home to his father, and told him he was to be a shinigami. But his father protested, saying he needed him to stay. But Masaru was a lot smarter now, realizing his father only kept him because he made extra money in the fighing circuit. So, he ran away from home to join the Shinigami Academy. Personality: Masaru, on the outside, is very agressive and dominating, always trying to be the best, but he can be very collected and intelligent as well.

Zanpakuto Information NOTE: This information is conceptual, as it has not been approved by any moderator of this forumZanpaktou Name: Shingenkotsu (Divine Fist) Zanpaktou Call: "Sho Shingenkotsu!" ("Destroy, Shingenkotsu!") Zanpaktou Appearance: When sealed, the zanpakuto is a long katana, the blade itself measuring 48" with a crooked handle measuring 12", with a red cord wrapped handle, and a black scabbard. The crossguard is a rectangular shape with each of the sides crooking inward, making a shape similar to an "X". Appearance.Zanpaktou Type: Hakuda Zanpaktou Soul: The soul of the zanpakuto is an empty suit of black and red samurai armor with six arms. Shikai: When Masaru's zanpakuto is released, the katana becomes a pair of samurai kote (gloves). The kote are metallic, and have sharp ridges ascending up the forearm portions of the kote. The majority of the kote are black, but are accented with red designs, including the ridges which are red. Zanpaktou Abilities: At the command of "Kire" (slice), the ridges along the forearms of Shingenkotsu extend a bit, allowing Masaru to thrust his forearms at his enemies and cut them. At the command of "Ugata" (pierce), the pointer, middle, and ring fingers attain sharp claws, which can be used as another bladed weapon. Bankai: Rokujoushi Shingenkotsu (Six Arms Divine Fist) Bankai Apperance: The bankai escalates from a pair of samurai kote to a larger amount of samurai armor, including a helmet, mask, leg armor, and thigh armor. The lega armor bunches up Masaru's hakama to appear like a special op's uniform. Most notably, his two real arms are covered with armor up to his shoulders, and four additional arms identical in size to his original two, float behind him, controlled by reiatsu. Bankai Powers: The four fists from the floating arms behind him can be shot outwards in order to attack an opponent, or to grab them and pull them toward him. By using the "Kire" or "Ugata" commands, the flying fists can become as deadly as flying daggers. When the six hands converge in the center of Masaru's body, he can summon a large, devastating kidou blast, similar to a Shakkahou, but three times larger. Since it is a last-resort technique, it is very powerful, as Masaru puts all of his remaining reiatsu behind the blast.

Journal Entries Entry 1I arrived at the Academy today, and the dormitories were empty. Everyone must have been at class, so I tried to find my room fast. When I did, I dumped off my stuff and put on the uniform they had left me (which is pretty comfortable) before heading to Sokyoku Hill. I arrived too late and was unable to spar, so I returned to the dorms. I spoke with a student named Kaosu, to whom I told a little about myself. He left, so I came to my room to get some sleep before tomorrow. Entry 2I was late arriving at the hill for classes again, but not late enough to miss anything. I found my assigned sparring partner, Ethan, and we began our spar. My first spar was surprising, in that I held my own for seemingly long time. But the outcome was expected as I dropped to the ground in defeat. The second match started out similarly; in a stalemate. But after I had inflicted damage on my opponent, I must have grown arrogant, because I soon lost again. My injuries were treated, and I left the hill, learning only of defeat by the sword.
