Dose anyone feel that SDC is really heavily screen toned compared to Full Moon and Jeanne? It's not a bad thing really, but I just noticed today and wondered if it was just me or not... sweatdrop

I was reading volume 2 yesterday and I realized it was really dark. There is so much more detail than what I am used to. That might just be because I've been reading a lot of manga from the 90's and things were simple then. This probably contributed to my confusion when reading the scanlations. There was just too much going on. It's ok to keep it that way for SDC but she should tone it down for her next series.

I noticed that too.I mean tones are nice in manga but too much makes it look dark and cluttered. She also clutters her pages with too much dialogue sometimes but when you look at DeathNote,it looks plain in comparison so maybe I shouldn't say that lol.
But the art is beautiful as always ^-^ heart

I noticed that as well, but actually, I really like the heavily screen toned pages. o.o
I think it adds to the drama of the story. It's quite nice.

I have to agree that it definitely adds to the drama. Plus I praise all that is Tanemura art.
