I don't see why everyone hates Martha. I do prefer Rose's character in Fanfics and such, but I can't stand Billie Piper. And Freema is less chav, and prettier. But that's just me.

~Daughter of Sparda~ I don't see why everyone hates Martha. I do prefer Rose's character in Fanfics and such, but I can't stand Billie Piper. And Freema is less chav, and prettier. But that's just me. I tend to blame it on the writers seemingly forgetting that she's there. We've had an entire season of her, and the character hasn't developed at all. She doesn't seem to learn from her mistakes, and for a med student, she's quite thick. I'm a Rose/Doctor shipper, but there have been other companions that I've liked. I absolutely adore Ace. But Martha. Ugh. She's down there with Peri on my list. (How the Doctor never dumped her somewhere is beyond me) It's nothing to do with whether it's Billie or Freema...the character is horribly anemic when it comes to content.

But that's just me. I love Billie Piper. I liked the character outline for Martha, but, at least till Human Nature, she just lacked the life that Rose had.

I love those pictures, especially 1 and 5 (Tennant in a tux, and with his arm around Freema). How does he do it? Being so damn cute ALL THE TIME! razz
I loved Rose a lot better than Martha. But i now love Martha in a different way. They are both equally great characters in their own way. At first, it took me a while to adjust to Martha (I hate change), but in the later episodes, she was awesome (especially 11, 12, 13).
I now love them both smile

Well Martha's new to me ( I saw one episode so far over here -_-), but she seems to be growing on me ever-so-slowly.. o_0
And Whoa! I finally get to see a picture with David standing on a level surface next to someone... he's leaning on her shoulder but still it's obvious he's a head taller than her! 3nodding mrgreen The cute lanky Scot wins again!

I like Martha...She was really pretty, Rose was okay looking, but she stole the doctors heart...I really like Martha's character, I mean she was a bit whiny and so on but I mean who wouldnt? Well If you're with some one and their constatnly mentioning some other person I'd be a bit pissy...
