Sai has to be my favorite person for Sakura after Naruto.
They're such a silly couple. Sai is a perverted social retard and Sakura's trying to teach him to fit in. He has a way of pissing Sakura off, usually by calling her a 'Hag'.
Plus when they first met, Sakura was into reading his story book. And he eventually showed them a real smile. He did choose to stay on thier team, and painted a picture of his friends.
They're friends for sure, but I think (in my mind) they could develop into something more.
I'm not sure if I can see it being cannon quite yet, but I don't think it's crack either.

No one goes better than a social retard, and Sakura.Sakura is being like a guide to Sai.She teaches him in the ways of social.
The best thing about their relationship.They both share mutual understanding towards eachother.Sai understands what Sasuke means to Sakura, and he dose want to help get him back.
