GRAMMAR
You're typing on a message board. You want people to understand what you're saying. Be sure to use proper sentence structure when you write. Also, be sure you're adding in punctuation and spacing where appropriate. Statements end with periods. Questions end with question marks. There's a space in between sentences. You don't want to look like an idiot, and we
don't want you to make us look like idiots for allowing you to post that way! Please also put a paragraph break between thoughts. Capitalize! It's ok to say lol and jk an' stuff. Just don't be a tech whore.
NO NECRO-POSTING
If you see a thread has been inactive for a while (weeks, even months)... don't reply to it. What that does is knock it all the way back up to the top of the forum. This confuses us and other visitors because we've forgotten about the thread, by now, and so it seems like there's this new thread with TONS of posts we need to go through! This is especially hard on moderators because we end up re-reading threads that we've already gone through! If you feel it's really important, don't be afraid to just start a new thread (with its own new discussion). Chances are, if you respond to an old one, we won't know what the heck you're talking about! We'll throw the old threads in the recycling ban.
"ESSENTIAL" POSTING
You don't need to have a post in every thread. When you first sign up, you may be tempted to go through every single thread and add in something to get your two cents in. Before you post, ask yourself... are you offering anything new to the conversation that hasn't come before? Are you providing information others may not know? If the answer is "no" to either of these questions, re-evaluate whether or not you should reply. Saying nothing other than "I agree" or "Yes" isn't really helping anyone. A post that is only one line long is not a post. If you don't have more than that to say, you don't have ANYTHING to say. Furthermore, posting some kind of (non)"witty" image is also not a post.
ATTITUDE
Try to respectful of your peers. There are people of many different nationalities, ethnicities, sexualities, etc. If someone's factually incorrect, don't be afraid to correct them... but be nice about it, point out stupid s**t. In turn, don't be a jerk if someone corrects you on something. Believe it or not, you don't know everything there is to know! Your opinions must be expressed with civility. Please be open minded to new and old, or disliked ideas. Ideas build though was an mature human!
SPAMMING
Our forum is not a place for you to spam anything specific. If something comes up in the normal routine of discussion, that's fine; don't come to the forum just to spam-up something, though. You'll get a warning, the thread will be locked, and if you do it again, you will be banned. Basically... this isn't a recruiting ground... It's a specific forum.
ACCOUNTS
You are to have but a single account on the forum. This keeps the database clean, and keeps everyone else free from confusion. Multiple accounts will be immediately deleted.
REMEMBER THE MODERATORS
Keep in mind that you are not a moderator. While a helpful and friendly reminders to some of our new members about certain posting habits is appreciated and welcomed, please do not go around continuously "enforcing" the rules on your own. Leave the moderation to the moderators, and the moderators alone!
If you wanna talk to any moderators, talk to the ones with "CCE" in their name.
-->CEE: Comic-Con Elites, they do all the shady work. Don't ask them why, they are kind like bots, programed machines. They are also guild mascots. We currently have CCE_Franky. We hope more will join us.
THE MAIN FORUM
The main forum is not for member posting. It is for mods who post announcements and stickies.
SUB-FORUMS
The sub-forums are for specific purposes, for example the sub-forum that is called RP is obliviously for RPing or the sub-forum called Anything that rocks may be miss leading so go and check the forum purpose thread. For further info.
THREADS
Part 1: You must always have a poll in your thread. This may seem useless and ridiculousness but there is reasoning for this. People like to whore for money and like to do junk so give people this opportunity. For people who know out there, think MPL (Magical Poll Land).
Part 2: Please quote the person you are referring to. It becomes very confusing when one does not who you are talking about. I'm just saving you, the member, the trouble and humility of looking ignorant.
But if the quote is really long, you should be able to make that call as to if the post is too long, you do not have to quote it.
Here is an example...

AAH! You killed my yogurt! I'm never going to give you anything ever again!

Part 3: Don't quote when there are like four giant pictures being posted. It clogs the thread, eats bandwidth, and just looks stupid.
