I'll see you all in a month!
If all goes well you should still be there. Just thought I'd let you do whatever you wanted first, before letting you know that it's vital you visit the Louvre.
Trust me, it is absolutely worthwile to spend an entire day visiting the largest museum of europe. Especially the sculptures from the renaissance period with its french and italian schools are absolutely superb, and the two large halls they're situated in (the Cour Marly and Cour Puget) only add to the marvel. The craftsmanship of the sculptures is enhanced by the lighting to deliver an experience you'll remember for the rest of your life. Special tip: See Edme Bouchardon's redition of the Barbarini Faun (around 2-3 o'clock), located by the stairs of the cour puget: http://www.insecula.com/oeuvre/photo_O0000096.html)
Be sure to come early, as you can easily spend 10 hours in there and still don't get to see everything. The paintings on the second and third flour are also marvellous..
PS.
Seriously, go there: Bosio's "Hercules fighting Acheloos transformed into a snake'' and Barye's "Lion and serpent" are waiting.
