Mind the exaggeration. Anyway, since we have a thread on how much you hate certain lines of a song, heres one for ones you actually like. I'll go first.
Any song that says "Now break this is s**t down!" or something equally aggressive, directly before a hardcore/half-time break down. It just really sets things off.
Same goes for a deep throated [get your sick mind out of the gutter] "Oh!" before aforementioned breakdown or at the end of a verse [à la Carpathian].

Depends on the song.
In something energetic and agressive, there's nothing better than a throat ripping shriek that tears out your ears (in a good way that is, a Gerard Way shriek, no) as an opener, or better, in the chorus.
When you're looking for something more mellow a gentle, female vocalist who just whispers the notes is really nice. So long as she doesn't get cat-screechy. xp
