I'd just like to get some opinions on what you think of Oujia Boards.

Personally, I believe in them. I also believe they are tools, not a game, though I am offended to see them in the children's section at Toys-R-Us.
Just remember, it's easier for evil to get out than it is good. I would say use EXTREME caution, and know your facts, before using one. It can be scary, it can get addicting, and it can be helpful at times. It's almost like a gamble.

hmm... i have very complex religious beliefs that tie in with this, so let me give a a crash-course in "MY RELIGION" rofl , hmm where to start from... well the most obvious is that i believe in god as a higher power (not a gay-bashing god of wrath, but a patient god that doesnt put up w/ crap and helps me out in daily life big and little), i believe in christ, although im not sure if i believe he was the son of god or god incarnated as a man to expierence the pain he felt for his children (yes, my god WOULD do that for me). i dont believe in hell, i think that a burning pit of fire was invented by pastors and preists to scare sheep into going to their church, im sure huffon will agree with me on my next statement (since hes an aspiring historian), while i dont know the specifics as well as huffon must, the churches controlled small estates in europe, they were almost nobles i believe, and it goes back even farther than that, back to ancient roman times, to christianity incorporating istelf with paganism and desecrating so many sacred symbols of these arcane people (pisces, the thinkers cap, the trident of atlantis), i do believe in demons, angels, the devil, possession, ghosts, and other entities that couldnt be classified as such. moving on, i believe in reincarnation, pretty sure that we dont come back as animals or bugs or such (just humans). but i believe that we move on life after life learning the lessons and hardships of the lives we inhabite, once you learn all you can in life, you move on to heaven, if you rape murder steal lie and sin as such (especially the desecration of women, whom i hold to be sacred), you will never progress in the cycle, therefore you can never attain harmony in the universe, making it impossible to go to heaven, staying on earth while all others besides your fallen bretherin have moved onto heaven is hell to me, lack of god is hell, yes, i truelly love my god. i dont believe in church, but in all mentioned above. WHEW! now onto the oiuja board, there are ones sold at wal-mart an toys r us, i have played with them, they are total s**t, carboard boards and plastic dails would not even humor spirits willing to contact you... my cousin has one that is wooden, has the original religious engravings, and the wooden dial with marbles sliced in half for feet, i dont like it, at all... i believe that once we transgress on to the next life, (whether its heaven or more hardships) we have no reason to contact our loved ones, or anyone else for that matter, i believe good comes to you in its own time on its own terms, when you are meant to recieve revelation, information, or a warning, good will find a way, but a ouija board reaches out to those in between life cycles... and i believe that the only spirits that will answer are evil, maliscious, or mischevious, but mainly evil. if good comes to you on its own terms like i mentioned, then it wont answer your call, but evil is always ready to step in and cause havock... we played with it at the cemetary one time (on halloween) and the dial started moving stronger and stronger, eventually i let go because they told me i was doing it and it was pissing them off, eventually we all let go and it started spelling things out on its own, it freaked me out, like literally unnerved me, ive never been that scared or unsure in my life, i left, i didnt want to wait around and see what it spelt, ive heard all kinds of things about that night (premonitions from the board about all of us, me in specific, whatever, i dont care, i make my own destiny), but after that i had alot of very unusual things happen to me (my cross in my window had been blown out of the window that night and it shattered, my dream-catcher fell from its hanging spot in the ceiling the next week, i started seeing things out of the corner of my eye, i had very unusual and generally freaky dreams, a friend actually called me and told me he was sorry and committed suicide a month later, but thats another story). sorry for such the long post, i just wanted to get my thoughts out there, i think ill take on evil cheese wedges tommorow wink

i do believe in possession, very strongly actually, i had a friend that was possessed by some type of spirit, it really ******** me up for a long time, even after he was exorcised his throat was really raspy for weeks from all the growling and screaming, he had bruises on his body from lashing around the bed, and his wrists were really raw (me and 4 other guys had to hold him down and secure him to the bed, we used a belt, handcuffs, pretty much anything we could find). the creepiest thing about it was when the spirit left his body, he started weeping uncontrollably in his normal voice (it was raspy like i said but you could tell it was him) he said he felt really dirty, and all he could remember of the last 48 hours was voices in his head like he was dreaming. i couldnt stand to be around him much after that... it was really hard because he said alot of scary things, like made threats on us, our families, started quoting the bible, a couple times i couldnt even make out what he was saying... he was a really religious kid, but when his dad killed himself he just kind of went downhill, him and my other friend were trying to summon some spirit out of a book they had come across. he was never really the same after that, i dont even know where he is anymore...

haha ty for taking my feeling into consideration and saying that you "could be wrong" but dont worry about stepping on eggshells around me, what you believe wont ever in any way offend me smile . i didnt really believe in it either, i had done a couple saunces and played w/ the oiuja and played light as a feather stiff as a board before that experience, its just one of the things u gotta experience for yourself... i mean when i looked into his eyes, that was not my friend (i am leaving his name out intentionally, hes been thru enough to not have to be a scapegoat for my conversations lol)

Leave them alone, because, chances are, you don't know what the Hell you are doing with one and you can call things that you really do NOT want to call.

And, uh, unlike these "romantic" style demons you find as characters all over this website, real demons do not give a damn about you or your feelings.
