So I was sitting there in bed, last night, thinking about my novel... And how I'd been working on it almost a year. So I tried to guess exactly when I'd started it, WHEN IT HIT ME.
I HADN'T BEEN WORKING ON IT FOR A YEAR. IT'D ONLY BEEN SIX MONTHS.
eek
You see, I'd thought of the characters (well, me and Studkilla together) for a roleplay near the beginning of the school year. They'd been occupying my mind since, then, so I just sort of assumend that's how long it'd been... But the actual novel, which used those same characters, didn't begin until sometime in late December/early January.
You know what this means? I thought I'd only written the 91 pages over the course of a year, but now that I see it was only HALF A YEAR, I realize how much I'll actually be able to complete in a year! I'M A FASTER WRITER THAN I THOUGHT!!!
...Only six months.
Yes, I know. I should have known this. xD

Seriously? Nice job biggrin My friend and I are writing a book together and we've been working on it for only three months and we already have about fifty pages!!!! It's taking some points of our sanity from the amazingness of it but we're not suffering from it....we're enjoying every minute of it! xd wink

Good job, Tiger! mrgreen It's totally fun to write stories with friends... Even if you do lose sanity. But then, who needs sanity, anyway? x3
Hey, 32 pages is good, Kat! =D Sometimes there are stories you can just dive into, and sometimes there are stories you just have to slowly eeeeek out...
While your sister informs you that genetically altered flying horse are physically impossible. xD

WoOT! Go Cheese! Oh, yes. Arel almost forgot! She is starting a NaruHina FanFic! She has the prologue basically written, which is good considering she started aforementioned FanFic last night at eleven o'clock and she is in somewhat of a writer's block and is forcing herself to to write. Arel decided to write a Fanfic for her favorite Naruto pairing because Fanfics come easily to her. Arel REALLY needs novel ideas.

She has the prologue basically written, which is good considering she started aforementioned FanFic last night at eleven o'clock and she is in somewhat of a writer's block and is forcing herself to to write. Arel decided to write a Fanfic for her favorite Naruto pairing because Fanfics come easily to her. Arel REALLY needs novel ideas. Ooh, cool! You should post it in the Sharing subforum!

Okay. Arel has completed the first chapter of her fanfic. She shall now post said fanfic in the Sharing Forum. Arel greatly appreciates comments on her stories.

While your sister informs you that genetically altered flying horse are physically impossible. xD My sister actually, asked someone in an engineering class if it was possible to rub it in my face and make sure. And tot it helps if you carry a notebook around to places you are likely to be bored (like car shows) then you will really ,really want to write trust me. i learned this when my Sunday school teacher tried to teach us about stuff all the seventh graders and up had already learned in school

*sob* But my old story, the one I'd been trying to write for ages at that time, the one I thought was destined to be my debut novel died beyond return.
