Yuri manga artists sure are zealous, aren't they? Now, normally it's not a problem for me as a reader, I can forgive any number of inaccuracies; inhuman breast size, waists so small they lack internal organs, unnatural amounts of.... stuff. But sometimes it just strikes me as really funny and then I can't be serious about the rest of the story!

Example: I read an update from my favorite yuri manga scanlation site and in the story one of the women licks the others' finger because she got a papercut. However, she drooled all over her finger, like.... all over it. No wonder she's giving you that look, honey, it isn't long witheld love or lust... it's just shock.

Anyone else notice this kind of thing or am I being too critical?

Well, I suppose you can always do a search on series we mention? :3 Usually you'll find something somewhere. I can also tell you that LJ communities are among my favorite resources, since they provide great recs and stuff.

Well it's not much different with normal hentai... And the humungus breasts are normal for most Mangas. Not only sexually orientedn ones. But I think the artists seem to forget that there are also a lot of lez girls who read the books not just boys on the lookout for hentais. But I dunno... It's most certainly not the most appealing thing

I agree with you. Big breasts and "no internal organs" reminds me of the whores I see at school. =/

Ugh, yeah, or when they're being hella squeezed or something. I basically look at that and think, "That looks supremely painful/uncomfortable and completely unattractive."

Because, seriously? Breasts don't work that way. And I don't know about anyone else, but I really, really would prefer that mine retain normal physical properties are are not abused.
