did anyone see that angelic halo in the marketplace tonight?
within 3 min ..the bid went up to 7 million ... 5 min ...the halo was gone
very odd ... rolleyes exclaim

o_o; Not a clue? And they accepted it as opposed to letting the bid run itself out? o.x; I heard about this while on the Exchange, but had such a hard time believing it.

Hacker knew 7 million would be easier and faster to get for a halo then a higher number. They bought an overpriced November 2003 too. *shrugs* Pain in the a** if you ask me confused

And they accepted it as opposed to letting the bid run itself out? o.x; I heard about this while on the Exchange, but had such a hard time believing it. no.... bid didn't run out by itself because I saw that person set the auction for 14 days eek ....I was thinking to myself ...."if that halo was for auction for 14 days, I'd stay on gaia 24/7 for 14 days xp .....sell everything I have to get as much gold as possible to bid on that thing" ...but the seller accepted the bid in 7 min .... gonk

I was there when one of her friend posted a thread in the Q+A forum asking about it, because she knew that her friend would never ever sell that halo...
So some jack a** came in telling us he had bought it, and everyone got all huffy puffy, telling him he had a hacked item, and everyone was generally pissed.
Then he confessed because Noraboo came into the thread and told him to quit being an idiot. He said he was trying to get everyone to calm down, i told him that was bull. Then Noraboo locked the thread.
But enough side story. I think it was all sorted out because the mods knew about it almost immedietly after it happend. And for an item of that stature, i think the mods would do more than just freeze the hackers account. 3nodding
