Okay...

Starting weight: 200
Reason for diet: I feel unhealthy. I look unhealthy. I am unhealthy. I don't like not wanting to go hang out with my friends because we might be swimming and I'm embarrased to be seen in my suit. I want to be a better me.
Weight goal: 150
Why this goal: It's a healthy weight for my height, age, and bone structure. I hope that it would be my healthiest weight. If I end up happier and looking good at something larger, so be it. Same if I need to go smaller.
Date goal: Valentines day!
Why this day: One, hello, I want to look good for luuurve! Two, it's more than 200 days away and I'd only need to lose a pound and a half a week, which is healthy. biggrin
Diet obstacles: I love chocolate, I love sweets, I love chips. Ice cream is less of an issue right now, since I can get the soy stuff, thank god. I don't eat chocolate too much, either. But we have two family sized bags of chips in the house and lately they're the only thing in the house I want to eat. I'm not very active.
Diet helps: I'm a vegetarian who loves fruit. I love to bike and I love to run around like an idiot. I dance around the house for no reason.

Food today:

Chips, Boca Chik'n patty, peanut butter and jelly, pie, two apples.

I don't have structured daily meals. smile

I would love suggestions!

You don't really need set up meal times, just try to eat every 3-5 hours instead. That way you are eating small but it feels like you've been eating all day. Focus more on the vegetarian needs but in portion, such as legumes, fruits, veggies, and small amounts of soy.

I heard of this 'detox' thing where you eat as much fruits and veggies you want, but only that and water and supplements, for 9 days. On this show I watch, they usually lose 13-14 first off and then a healthy 2-3 each week. Apparently it's supposed to jumpstart your system into losing. Haven't tried it yet myself, lol.

Thanks!

I usually have large amounts of soy and fruit... Nothin' else. haha.

She's got a body like an hourglass...

I haven't been keeping up with this much, have I?

Well, I'm no longer a vegetarian and I've been moving (AKA: Heavy lifting) so I think...

I don't know what I think, so I'll get back to ya!

...it's ticking like a clock.

I'm no longer a vegetarian because my family was putting extreme pressure on me to be 'normal' and eat like a 'normal person'.

That is horrible. I'm so sorry they got to you and gave you that much pressure. I got it from my mom as well when my sister and I chose to be vegetarian but we stuck with it. Now my mom is actually addicted to Morningstar burgers. lol She still rolls her eyes but overtime she realized she will just have to accept it. I hope in the future you will try again!
