Kesori Village
The Kesori Village is located on the island of Naliad’i. They are by far the friendliest of the tribes living in the Belinda Islands. The smallest tribe of the three major groups, the Kesori can most often be found on the ocean in their canoes. They have become expert spear hunters and are more than happy to show off for any tourist who takes the time to watch. The village is set up in a mostly lackadaisical fashion with no regard to order or straight walking paths. The people have embraced the tourism industry with an enthusiasm that confuses – and in the case of the Lihasu tribe, disgusts – most of the other natives. Their culture is dominated by the males, though some females have asserted themselves enough to take on traditionally male roles. For the most part, the women of the Kesori are content to stay home and raise babies.
