I CAN'T DECIDE. Should I make my novel third person, or first? There are clips in the Sharing subforum, one of which is in first person, the rest of which are in third. Do you prefer it in third or first? This is a critical decision...
Gyah.
Better yet, which do you prefer to read: first person or third person novels?

welol, here's an idea, since you have multiple characters, the main main character is in first person, and the minor main characters are in third

Hmm...I prefer third person, but that's just me.
Let us do pros and cons!
Nah, that'll take too long. I guess I'll just say that Twilight is a really good book and it's in 1st person, but I like writing in 3rd person because you can get a wider range of emotions from all the characters, include details the main or other characters may not have noticed or deemed important, and also write in a bit more a detached manner...not in a bad way, but when you write in 1st person you're in the person's mind, you ARE the person, and everything you write will be attributed to that person. You must be very careful in 1st person.
I regret to say I haven't read your story clips, however, so I can't be sure. Where are they again??

First person is actually harder to write than you think. You can't stray from your character to do other character's lives away from yours. If that's what you like to do, switch between a few different characters, then third person is what you should do.
