The Kent State Massacre took place on May 4, 1970. I feel this is an appropriate topic as this definitely relates. If anyone feels this shouldn't belong tell me and I'll delete it.

Watch this video about it. It's really sad. It makes us think about the seriousness of the attitudes people had about the war. It was a troublesome time..

I remember reading about Kent State in my sixth grade History book and bawling.

It was absolutely disgusting.

It was a sad event in US history. Thing is, it should still apply to us today. We shouldn't forget it. I always wonder why it turned out that way. I agree that it's disgusting.

is that where those kids were killed while protesting (videos dont load for me) thats horrible. the guy lying on the ground and the woman screaming.

What a truly horrible ordeal crying On the anniversy of it one of my teachers put up a poster a student made a few years ago about it.

I love the song Crosby, Stills, Nash and young wrote about it. The song Ohio. i'll post the lyrics later...to lazy now.

I remember seeing that famous picture in my history book...of the dead guy lying on the ground and the women screaming/crying hysterically.
It was chilling then, and still is when I think about it.
