And why, please. I'm just curious. ^^
Mine; Shojo, Gaming, Real Life Drama, Fantasy, Romance, and a couple odd ones I can't really put in a catagory. xD;
Why?
I dunno really. I guess I like twisted plots, exciting and unpredictable storylines and things most people wouldn't think of. As per gaming... I honestly couldn't tell you. .___.;
What and why for the rest of you? =O

The vast majority of my collection is shojo, with some action, mystery, and humor ones.

I like just about any category. But some of my favorites are shounen, comedy, and fantasy. Also some of the slightly historic animes. I'm not as into romance. Also, recently I began to like Shounen Ai {no yaoi though.}
Ex. would be:
Shounen~ Bleach, Naruto {Those are Shounen right?}
Comedy~ Nerima Daikon Brothers, and Pani Poni Dash
Historic~ Otogi Zoshi, Peace Maker {follow legends or real events...sort of...}
Shounen Ai~ Loveless, Sukisho, Gakuen Heaven {I may have messed up the names slightly.}

Well.. I'm mostly into Shoujo, school life, romance, and action. There are a lot more, but I really can't think of them right now.^.^ Although I think my favorite has to be romance, since I love the random little twists and turns in the plot.
Minoru: You spelt the Shounen Ai names right. I just so happen to have Sukisho. <3 Such a cute anime it is, too. whee

I'm a really big fan of scifi and mecha anime. My faves include Blue Sub No. 6(which I'm working on a costume for), The Animatrix, Appleseed, etc.

I like ones that involve magic and romance mangas are always nice :3

My favorites have been:
Fullmoon o sagashite [I cried during reading it D: and I never cry for that kinda of stuff]
Pita ten [but who hasn't?]
1-13 of Negima [yes yes I know it's older teen and no I'm not a lesbian]
Ouran Host Club [oh yes xD]
Hana Kimi [but not all of them]
and the first loveless
And some things I can't remember xD
I'm always looking for good manga to read so suggestions are loved 3nodding
