  Nope. Not yet, anyway.

I was wondering if anyone's seen this. My sister and I just watched it this afternoon. Man... that movie is so trippy. It's such a surprise, too, if you're comparing it to the show. I really liked it though. It had a certain charm to it and there were a lot of great scenes.

Tsk, tsk. I'm going to have to teach you how to use the shift key one of these days. By which, of course, I mean yes, those mermaids were quite trippy, indeed.

Yeah, if you look up "weird" in the dictionary, Head is the third definition. well, not really, but it might as well be. Still, despite all of its oddities, I still love it.

I haven't just seen it, I own it on DVD. xD

I like it. It's trippy but fantastically so. But it sucks when you watch it with someone who doesn't know (or can at least GUESS) any of the symbolism...

I was so P.O'd, the DVR killed my recording when I was on vacation. I hadn't had a chance to watch it and I forgot to protect it.

I have only seen parts of it.

Yeah, I had pretty much the same problem the second time I watched it. A friend of mine who doesn't really know the Monkees watched it with my sister and I. She was sufficiently freaked out. Ah, well...

I love that part, too! Something about Micky and that Coke machine just makes me adore him.

I loved the movie. It was more than just a head trip.

Favorite quotes:

"psst!"
"I'd like a glass of cold gravy with a hair in it"
"Au Countre? Is that what he said? Better not mess with me"

It's been a while since I watched it but I have it on VHS which I wore out then bought the DVD. biggrin It surprises me that it was directed by Jack Nicholson.

I guess I was the only one that didn't really like the movie or understand a lot about it.

I love that movie and it took me years to find it. I had to special order it from Penny Lane.
That movie is the most!

My favorite part is when they were all lured to a room and they started singing happy birthday to Mike and a bunch of hippies were coming out of nowhere and they were all dancing and havin' fun to this groovy music with these wonderful lights and all I can think was, "I missed it! I missed this! I was born too late and missed this!"

Mike is so funny though:
"And the same thing goes for Christmas!"
"*GASP!*"
