I found out about this a little while ago, but reminded me of it when someone brought up the movie on The Horror Movie Guild. He plays Derek Allan. Just a wee bit part I believe. Here's the IMDB web page:

Wow, look at the cast list. It is full of people who have been in many classic horror movies (and the Gilmore Girls).

To be honest I didn't see Mickey in there and I watched Halloween so I was a bit disappointed, I imagine he didn't have a very big role?

Hmm I havn't seen the new halloween movie yet. Though I absolutly LOVED the original. xD I love horror flicks. I hear they are remaking Friday The 13th Too. But i'll have to rent this and see if I can spy this Monkee xD
