Which is not really the ultimate question...
How did you get into BL?
Me... It started... Few years ago, a scanslation team released a shounen ai manga, Bokura no Oukoku (Our Kingdom licensed by DMP). Curiosity got me. I read it and now still obsessed. xD
I went from shojo to shonen then BL. >____>;;; *shivers slightly at shojo*

heh... I started watching Naruto, and then I read some of the fanfics about NaruSasu, and then I found some pictures, and voila! I'm reading 5 million different doujinshi's and I've saved so many pictures of them...*cough*...that I've lost count of them all. ^-^
EDIT: OMG this post was more than a year ago!! I've been here for over a YEAR! ...*edits original post*

Actually... I read an article about it in a manga magazine (Manga Mania) it was called "Shounen-ai: Forbidden love" or something xD And I was like ooo, what's this? and I just saw all these bishies and I kindof melted... and then it kinda... grew... like a fungus! xD

Either piccies or a book with shonen(or more) popped up sometime. I have a gay cousin anyway, so I wouldn't have minded anyway *shrugs*

I don't believe I ever wasn't. o.O The earliest I remember being a serious slasher was when I was 7. My mom read Harry Potter to my sister and I in the afternoons, and I remember thinking Voldemort was cool, and that he'd be cool with Harry. xD
My sister was always a...vivacious child in that sort of thing, and my parents were fine with that sort of discussion, so Ceri and I used to name off people who'd make cute couples in Disney movies, some were het, some were not. Gender (or sometimes, species) didn't really matter to us.
I always liked Mr. Mistoffelees/Rum Tum Tugger from cats while Ceri like the frog/turtle from The Swan Lake

I kinda hate Disney etc. xD All their princes look EXACTLY THE SAME! It's crazy! I did like Beauty and the Beast. Though, the original story was better.

Cats was our first (or was it Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat?). We used to reason that Joseph was loved most of all by his slave master was that they were having sex. Pharoh/Joseph was cute, too. Ye-ah, that's how we think xD.

Time moves in a spiral
Let's see... I was into (into? in to? in-to?) Yu Yu Hakasho and I heard about Kurama/Hiei. At first I was weirded out, then I stumbled onto a wonderful lemon songfic of that pairing. I liked it, but moved on. Then I saw a fan art of Iruka hugging Kakashi and I was hooked.
So KakaIru was my first yaoi ship! ^__^
always going forward, yet repeating itself.
