If you go to the " Crate & Apparel " shop , and talk enought to liam he will say that Botting is allowed in his shop !!!!
He says " Bots are outlawed in GAIA. You didn't hear this from me but our town has a special deal with the government that allows them here. " exclaim exclaim exclaim

rolleyes He's talking about the robots in the Faktori (which is in Aekea, just like Liam's shop is). That's what I always figured, anyway.
