Iridessa's small barefeet padded across the wood flooring of her dormitory. She yawned and fumbled through her dresser for her nightrobes. She had stayed up most of the night writing her Defense Against the Dark Arts essay, which was twice as long as it was required to be. She slipped into her nightrobes and eased into the covers, careful not to wake anybody.

Bryce entered the girl's dormitory nervously carrying Iridessa, who was fast asleep. He gingerly place her on the bed and tucked her in. "Sweet dreams beautiful." He whispered in her ear as he quietly made his way back to the boy's dormitory.

Nayriu stormed into the girls dormitory and went straight for her trunk. She pulled out a pen and some parchment and began to furiously scribble a letter.
This isn't fair! How can she leave me with such a huge task, and all she leaves me with is a name!
She returned to her trunk and pulled out the last letter she had ever received from her Mother, searching for any clue to aid her in her quest to avenge her family name.

Iridessa entered the dormitory, her hair damp and starting to curl from the shower. She tossed her towel over the end of the bedframe to dry and changed into her night robes. She removed her Herbology book for some extra studying, casting a sideways glance at Naryiu, who looked rather frantic. "Anything wrong?" She asked taking her eyes from her textbook for a second.
