Okay, I'll get this out in the open: I'm an Otherkin; a vampiric Nekomata, to be precise.
But this is new to me. Lately, since Summer officially started, my psychic senses have been going off the chart. I mean, I saw things before, but never this much, or this clear. I feel things that I'd rather not; a lot of women in my family are empaths, but I was always able to fight that off. Also, my Kin-ness' showing has been very evident to me; I'm shifting a lot now; waaay more than normal.
My spirit helpers seem to think this is normal, but I can't help but think that there's something wrong.
Anyone have any insight?

But yeah; It seems weird, yes'm, and your spirit helpers are there to tell you what you need to hear, so it'd be a good idea to believe what they're saying. Maybe you're just going through some sort of phase as an otherkin, or something?

Actually, I think some seriously weird s**t went down last summer. Every energy worker I talked to had a drastic uptick in weird problems with both new and regular clients, and a lot of normally-hardy plants died for no particular reason. Also lots of bees, though the theory ran that that was probably some as-yet-undiscovered disease or parasite.
My personal weird-s**t-o-meter went off the charts. We ended up having to move VERY QUICKLY, actually on the day this thread got posted. And keep in mind, I'm an acupuncturist who has to get regular continuing education, along with every other acupuncturist in the state (and there are two schools churning us out in this puny state, so there are a lot of us here), plus I started learning reiki last August, so when I say every energy worker I talked to, that's a large fragging number.
