I sometimes take walks in local canyons and look at the wildflowers. Recently, there have been so many blossoms, it's like walking among piles of gold.http://noh.ucsd.edu/~rserocki/golden-hill.jpg
One of my favorite types of flowers are sunflowers, because they're bright and cheerful, and have such presence.

I sometimes watch anime series. I haven't bought any anime DVDs for several months, however, except for Nausicaa and Porco Rosso, because they were so noteworthy.

I've played a lot of Disgaea. After I defeated Uber Prinny Baal, I mailed the game off to a friend as an extended loan. I also play fan-made Tomb Raider levels. One of my favorite such level took place in Tolkien's Moria. I liked it because the idea of Lara Croft in Moria was so mind-bending to me. It was extremely atmospheric.. intimidatingly large and gloomy. Unfortunately, there were also very difficult puzzles.

My favorite console RPG is likely Suikoden II. I also thought Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, was the epitome of what good video games are all about.
