The wedding was PERFECT, despite the fact that my parents and my family weren't there. My parents pulled the financial plug on us, so I ended up with no wedding gown or rings! But, surprisingly, Chris' grandparents bought me a nice summer dress to wear, along with some flowers to put in my hair, and a bouquet.. I was shocked....And even MORE shocked when two blue velvet ring cases were in the pastors' hand. biggrin Turns out a married couple who goes to our church bought us both gold wedding bands! biggrin biggrin They're being re-sized right now, though. They were too big on us. I also got another bouquet of Lupins..they smell purrty... heart
After the wedding, we were told that they had ANOTHER surprise for us in the reception area downstairs.. a CAKE! It was wonderful, beautiful, magical, everything a wedding should be..Chris cried,( even though he said he wouldn't)I cried.....YOU'RE ALL GONNA GET PICTURES!*SQUEE*
And I was told everything would change once I got married, but it really hasn't all that much. Chris and I are just closer together now, more intimate, but that may be just because we now have a physical relationship (sex), Or...something...I dunno..
I was also told by my parents that I would regret it, and I'm making a huge mistake blah blah blah..
My parents both said they didn't wanna be there if Chris and I were gonna get married this early (we'd only been together nearly eight months now), yet when I called them last night to tell them that I'm married, they said of course they would've wanted to be there, blah blah...My mother was particularily childish:
Mom: "Well, you know what you're getting for a wedding gift?"(sarcastically)
Me: "What?"
Mom: "Nothing,because you didn't tell me or send me an invitation."
Me: D sad Pissed)
Absolutely no regrets.
