"Maybe It's Maybeline"
People make mistakes
we find that everything breaks
and it always is the same, gotta find someone to blame
and these errors that we make (cause we're all human
earthquakes)
yeah, we made the hurricane, yet we're not the one's to blame?
we point the finger even though it's not polite
we condemn the son of God (we're hoping two wrongs make a right)
maybe it is them
or, maybe it is me
or, maybe it's maybeline
people make mistakes
we took the apple from the snake
and it always is the same:
gotta find someone to blame
our reputations were at stake, but the guilt we could not take
America's gone done the drain
the president's fault again?
we point the finger even though it's not polite
we condemn the son of God (we're hoping two wrongs make a right)
maybe it is them
or, maybe it is me
or, maybe it's maybeline
the truth is, excuses are lame
accept consequence
accept the blame
we're all sinners
we're all unclean
maybe we're born with it
or maybe it's maybeline

and now for what im sure might offend some and bring insight to others.

I had a thought one day (yes i actually had a thought xP) i'm going to spend my whole life being made to act and look like something someone else wants me to.

This thought kind of scared me. To know that people would never really see me for me, and that they would only see the 'me' that they wanted to see was horrific. In this world everyone just wants you to fit in. even if it means sacrificing the very soul of what you are.

I realized i would spend every waking moment trying to live up to what other people wanted me to be and do.

Everyone on this Earth is trying to be like everyone else. If everyone just acted like themself, the world would be a lot better. They're all trying to live up to someone else's standards, when if they just lived the way they wanted, it would end the domino effect on humanity. people set these un-obtainable examples of what they think they should be. society wants everyone to be thin and pretty, when real people come in so many other shapes and sizes. everyone's different and they should accept it.

I came to be thinking about all of this because of my journal. i wasn't saying things in here, because i was afraid they would make people worry. but im not going to be like that anymore. i've always been the type to speak my mind, but have been some-what discouraged to doing so.

that's why im giving up my conformist journal and starting fresh.
