"Sora!Wait!" He ignored Kairi's desperate crys to stop and think through his actions.She stood in the middle of the desrted street,the wind playing with her long brown hair.Her blue eyes followed his retreating figure into the gray gates of Halloween Town that sat before them.Her mind fogged and her body froze to the spot,panic taking over."You can't take that thing on by yourself!What are you thinking Sora?" "It has Riku...Go find Shenya...we'll need her." His words barly reached her ears,but his request was clear."But where is she?!" Her voice grew weaker by the minute and she found it necesary to shout her words,or else they would fall on death ears.His mood seemed to grow glommier by the second as he turned to face her,the only thing seperating them was the closed bars of the town that held the beast that Sora seeked."You'll find her in Twilight Town,she lives with a friend that goes by the name Candis.Tell her we need her help,Riku's in trouble." A chilling howl echoed from inside the depths of the town.People that stood on the streets watching the two scattered into their small cozy homes,frightened by the monster that had taken Riku.The orangy glow that seemed to float around the streets morphed into a blackish blue.A full bright moon shone overhead,the only thing to give any light as sleek black bats of numerous sizes over took the starry sky.He looked up to the moon and back to his friend that found it hard to take her eyes from his.He reached through and wrapped his arms around her shaking form for a split second,the bars still between them,making the farewell hug akward.His arms came back to his sides as he dashed into the center of the town,"Be careful!"being his last words as his form was swollowed up by the darkness."You too..." With her words on death ears,she forced herself to turn away from the gate and head to the small black portal that would take her to the person she seeked.Small tears pricked the egdes of her eyes as she looked at Halloween Town one more time before fully advancing through the portal and dissapearing from sight
