I know, I know. Strange of me to suddenly have a journal, right?
Well, that's because something strange happened that was worth journaling about.
Today I was approached twice, by two different messengers who handed me a letter and departed in silence.
The first instructed me to meet and speak with a certain distinguished gentleman, who requested my assistance in procuring some items.
In the process of getting these items, before I could reach the other store, I was handed a second letter from a notorious couple of girls who were said to have dissapeared. Missing, presumed dead.
They just might still be dead.
They've asked me to give them five hundred of my precious gold, my hard-won money that Laylah keeps taking unfairly when I sell things for her.
I have a feeling that both of these requests should be kept from one another, and I am no longer certain where my loyalties lie.
If, as I suspect, the Von Helson sisters are vampires now, then I would like to side with them. I mean, hello, pretty vampire twins who are attempting to mug me in a dark alley. Could certainly be worth it.
Then again, I always have rather liked Edmund, despite his gruff ways. He seems quite the gentleman.
Oh, I don't know what to do! I usually pride myself on taking the fun road, rather than the smart way, but this time.. I think I'll stay in the middle. Play them both, until I understand more...
This is gonna take some gold. Time to go bump in the chatterbox for a while. ^_~
