The Light forsook me Let me fall into eternity Darkness overtook my eyes And I felt sorrow As I fell farther down
I closed my eyes and wept
The world stopped flying by me I opened my eyes and they filled with joy In her many arms I had alighted She, who moved like the wind dreamed about Whose four hands held Knowledge, Virtue, Passion, Deceit Fiery red her eyes glowed And her skin a sea, deep Azure And so she was beautiful
Fallen, broken I was As mortal she appeared She nursed my wounds She spoke to me A voice of naivety and words of experience With its ambrosia tone She quelled the dark sorrow
After a time I was healed, Although still yearning to feel her soft scented skin That skin I felt in her embrace and that sung songs of caring in contradiction her sweet voice would tell stories which I knew false
Or was it madness taking over
Perhaps this world was taking its toll on me This world, Arklai with its field of Grateful blossoms violet and tempting Intoxicating rain storms that took one by surprise And opium mists hiding the cliffs into the dark place of sorrow
The very place she saved me from And I have no wish to return to
