You know what sucks? When you say something, and a person takes it differently! For example, I was talking with my mom, and we were talking about my brother's soccer team. She's like "I think we have a good looking team this year!" Me:"Ya, if they play pretty well, they have a good chance of winning!" Mom: "No, I mean thay look good! They're handsome boys!" Me: "Uhh...they're pretty ugly Mom! Not exactly good-looking!" Mom:"Well, name a guy from your class that is good looking, putting aside everything else. Like if they're a geek or rude..." Me:"....Ummm....I dunno. Paul I guess." Mom:*Nods* "Ok, I see...." *Dad, who was evesdropping, comes in* Dad: "So, who's this Paul guy, hmm? Your new boyfriend?" Me: "What?!?! No! Mom was asking me-" Dad: "I know I know!" Me: "Right." *Get's up from table, walks away* Dad: "Hey! Come back here! It was a joke! I wasen't saying you like him!" Mom: "Yes you were. You were suggesting that she liked him."
And there ya go! And my Dad wonders why I never talk to him about that stuff! Geez....
