I wish I was on Yonder Hill,
to sit and watch the tide pull in,
the water collects in pools at the rocks,
and the black shadows fade in the west.
With the breeze I would be flying,
With the air I would be soaring,
with the sun at my face,
the sea a gleam at my feet,
and the shadows far behind me,
I would forget my sorrows.

I wish I was at the mountain side,
to sit and watch the forest glen,
the gossamer webs streaming over my hands,
with the earth I would blend in.
With the darkness falling all around me,
With the Sun's last rays lifting from the golden hills,
With the diamons above me,
and the soil beneath me,
I would be in solitude.

I wish I was at the river bank,
to sit and feel the spring time air,
the cool spring water washing over my feet,
with emotion I would become one.
With the flowers blooming all around me,
With the insects buzzing here and there,
With the water around me,
and the flowery aroma encasing me,
I would be at peace.

I wish I was on the Golden Hills,
to lay in the lavender and warm dry grass,
the fiery Sun burning on my skin,
and the abyss brewing in the west.
With the dead silence I would hear clearly,
With the warm Sunset on Yonder Hill,
With the days last memories and the nights cool chill,
and the bright light searing at my lips,
I would long for a new morning.
