I just knoowww you missed me. *wink wink*
(Yes I know I suck at updating... don't rub it in. >.< wink
Anyway, this week at school is a little thing called Spirit Week (some of you may have heard of this before), when personally I think everyone goes to school, dressed up all wacky and makes a fool our of themselves.
Yah see, Spirit Week is a week (duh) of different events that happen at school, with something different for each day (The events also vary every year). Everyone in school takes part of it (even the teachers) and it is kinda fun. It's also a little bit like a contest, and the prize is evidently an ice-cream and soda party, complete with no homework.
People take this seriously (I do, but not that much).
This year, the schedule is as follows:

Monday: Crazy Hair Day ( everything front paint brushes to wire to food dye in your hair. I even saw someone who buzz-cut they're hair to form a sentence in it. Weird. )

Tuesday: Pajama Day (Very strange/funny. I had to board the bus and go to my piano lesson like this. It was interesting, scuffling around in our furry slippers and pj's, thinking how weird we must look to people who don't know whats going on. A bit self-concious, as well, because, I mean, what are the chances of groups of people building bridges during tech-ed in their sleepwear?)

Wednesday: Hat Day (All the guys loved this one. Wear your hats all day with no chance of getting in trouble. I saw a cat-in-the-hat hat, among other poofy checkered ones and top hats.)

Thursday: Rainbow Day. (The boys settled with wearing fake rainbow-colored flowers, because they refused to wear anything else that was rainbow colored. The gals had a hell of a time, wearing different sized/colored socks, and a whole assortment of weird clothing. Some even wore tropical outfits and flip-flops, despite the cold, rainy weather.)

Friday: Red, White, & Blue Day. (That's tomorrow. The purpose is for Memorial Day. It should be interesting. We also get school off on Monday and a half-day tomorrow.)

Well. That's a bit of a strange event happening in my area. Although we're no longer in first place, my class hopes to win that ice cream party. Wish us luck! wink
