I just randomly noticed that my obsession with Death note isn't the first series that has to do with killing criminals to make the world a better place. The punisher, Death Note, Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl... you name it...so many stories have it. A character with a major god-complex who wants to kill people to make the world a better place. lol... In Death Note there's Yagami Raito... or Light Yagami in english format....becomes Kira(Killer). The Punisher...well that speaks for itself. Harry Potter- Voldemort is the killer in this... Artemis Fowl- All humans are portrayed with the want to kill to create a better world- in this case a world without The People. I've noticed that it really is in human nature to want to get rid of evil... but by ridding ourselves of that evil we either become evil ourselves or there becomes a new evil. It's interesting lol.
lol. I know...too much time on my hands lol... but I'm sick so whataver lol.
Anyone have random thoughts to this?
