Her smile is soul lifting and can warm the coldest heart
She has a heart of pure gold and a soul of pure kindness
She can turn the worst of days into the best of days
This woman can make anyone smile and laugh, even if they are crying
The warm touch of her hand can calm the angriest of spirits
The feel of her hug can make even the saddest person smile
She moves gracefully around the room, her warm smile can be felt in the whole room
Most can not see what lies behind all the kindness and warmth
The pain in her eyes and the hurt in her heart
All of the trauma of a life gone wrong
All the pain and suffering she feels
And all of this everyday
And yet she goes on, pushing, fighting to be happy
With all the turmoil in her life during day and night
She does all she can to help others and make them smile
She is strong and brave filled with love and warmth
She is beautiful as no other woman has ever been
She is my little sister and my closest friend
She is the greatest person I have ever known
She smiles and takes hold of someone
A person who does not love her
She gets frightened and runs
He looks on and leaves her alone
When she needs someone the most
Footsteps echo out as a man arrives
A hand out in the darkness
A whisper in the dark
A pledge of protection
A promise of love
She takes his hand and helps her up

She is grabbed but does not fear

The man pushes her and demands
