Well, I got my learner's permit(about 6 months late). So I got to drive to my grandparent's house today. It was great until everyone started acting all paranoid. I flipped the turn signal and accidently turned the windsheild wipers on(which is easy to do the way it's setup) so I was pulling out to turn slowly while checking for cars(this sounds retarted but the road was empty before the windshield wiper incident and you could see pretty far down it in both directions so it's not like turning while looking after waiting a few seconds is going to get us killed). Anyway, as I'm turning and looking there's a truck that just came around the corner. Everyone starts flipping out because I'm turning slowly, and not that slow at all actually, anyway long story short I get into the lane with about 500 feet between me and the truck and everyone's all talking about how I just barely made it. There were five other people in the car which I think is retarted to have on someone's first time driving anyway. So yeah, if this story sounds weird that's because it was hard to explain. Anyway, another few things I hate about my family:
-They take forever to do stuff(hence the 6 month wait for a learner's permit).
-They freak out over little stuff(even I wasn't worried we would wreck and I'm the one driving).
-They have no faith in me(even though I am pretty much the smartest in our family...based on IQ's I AM).
