....Hey if your reading this....prepare to read some random stuff and some random poems created by my mind, inspired by boredome... rofl
anyways....if your read the following poem, I really want you to give my feedback, so that I can improve ^^:
A Dream
A dream is a wish your heart makes,
Chasing it, you do whatever it takes;
You search high and low,
Take a lifetime, Then finally know,
That a dream is unreachable.
But once and awhile there is a special someone who gets everything they've always dreamed of having,
But soon realize it isn't having the achievement that brought them enjoyment,
But the adventure they had chasing the dream.
Those who lose in life,
And never fulfill their dream,
Their body whithers away in the ground;
And from that soil bears no more sound.
Their hopes and wishes leave their anguished souls,
And get passed on to their ancestors
Who deprive themselves to chase this silly dream,
And when they reach their light in the sky,
They remeber the tears,
The sorrow,
The faces of the people they've hurt,
Of the loved ones they've betrayed,
And soon realize...
That it wasn't worth it.
That is why, Dear friend,
If you have a dream,
Don't ever follow it
Throw it away
And let life follow;
Unless you want to dig your own grave of depression....
And there you have it...my first posted poem...there's a longer version to it, but I didn't think you guys would want to read it all mrgreen
