Wonder
When I wake in the middle of the nights of a long summer, I feel so cold. When I see, the empty spot, next to me, with an imprint of your hand still on the pillow, I wonder why.
As the summer fades to fall and the leaves begin to fall. As the flowers of my heart decay. As you take me with you to an unknown place in my dreams I can't believe.
When I wake in the middle of the nights of a scarred autumn, I feel so lost. When I feel, the wind blow, through the window, the scent of your cologne lingers on the sheets. I wonder why.
Autumn is murdered by the winter. As my feelings were slaughtered by your words. These seasons make me suicidal. Now your smile is embedded in my head. Now your words linger on my lips. Now you make me forget the present.
When I wake in the cold days of winter, I feel so depraved. As the snow falls on my face. When I feel, the cold, on my neck, just like your kiss. I wonder why.
Spring is coming, a brand new bloom. I still feel you. I miss you when I see the vines creep up my wall. The ones you used to climb upon. Spring is here but it brings no warmth or feeling.
When I wake now in the spring, I see your face in the picture frame. I feel your smile and your embrace. I can feel it again, I can see it again, I can feel you. Your back in my hands, in my mind. I don't need to wonder why now that the razor blade peirces the skin.
Yes emo I know. Bide your time and hold out hope.
