Moment in Time

All I need is time...
A moment to call my own...
Time to think,
And time to talk...
Time to learn to live,
And learn to walk...
A time all to myself,
To do with as I choose
Where nothing really matters
Except me and my blues...

Just one precious moment...
Is all I ask,
Where nothing too special is needed
For this one little task.
Because, all I need is some privacy
And maybe a little space,
For me and my thoughts
To all go into place...

"Time can only erase so much pain..."
My heart wants to scream!
As I sit in my moment and think,
How very many of my sins have now been seen
The times I cheat, and the times I lie.
Boy, there have been so many...
It all just makes me want to cry.

That's all I need, is time,
A moment to call my own,
Full of privacy,
And a lot of space,
For me and my thoughts
To all come into place...
