You heard me. It actually snowed over here in Atlanta. Crazy, huh?

We didn't get a lot. Just about half an inch. Just about enough to make people freak out, though. I was supposed to go to a Barry Manilow concert, but it was canceled due to 'bad weather'. DX No, the weather isn't bad. Stop saying it is. It's just really cold. The roads are the driest they've ever been. They're worse in the rain.

Not that I come down to Atlanta often, but it's surprising to see such an interesting turn in the weather. You'd think it's a very warm place to be, but with this wind chill making it drop below twenty degrees, I think these changes in the weather are becoming very serious.

Yeah, but enough about my weather rants. It's just cold and I don't like the cold. D:

It's been a fun weekend. Seriously. ^^ A good time to relax. I do have homework, but I forgot it all back in Boston. It sucks since I won't be back late Tuesday night, and I have school the next day. Well, I can get my English and Spanish done anyway. Our Spanish homework was to finish up all of the internet assignments we missed, I think.

AY NO! NO ME GUSTA! gonk

And English was just to write an essay. Meh.

I was a bit discouraged on Friday/Saturday about my writing, but critism can do that to you. My mom told me that if I kept feeling discouraged about it, I'd never be able to do anything writing-wise for a while. She told me a story about her friend who was writing an amazing story, and quit writing just because someone gave her rough critism.

Writing is something I love. I'm not going to give up because I got a few comments about it. Although they stung for the next few hours, I know that they were only said for the purposes of helping me out (or rather, since they didn't know it was my work, saying it so it wouldn't get into the magazine...okay, that's no help, but I like to keep an optimistic view, okay?).

The next thing I write will be a lot better. I promise you that. I just need time. Lots and lots of time, which I do have.

Right now, I'm listening to MIDIs of video game soundtracks on www.vgmusic.com. 3nodding They've got a lot of good remixes of boss and stage music. Especially for DK64 and Banjo-Kazooie.

I really want to roleplay. Or write something. But I don't know what exactly I should do. For the first time in a while, I want to be inspired. How strange that it's now when I feel the urge to write, when I have nothing to write about. Probably why this journal entry was born. Just to satisfy the need to write.

Maybe I'll go review manga. I haven't done that in a while. Or write pointless poetry. The pointless poetry always gets my brain jogging.
