this is one of my favorites... I was in art class and was inspired by the painting "Starry Night" thus this one is titled "My Starry Night"

I look up on a starry night
And tell myself that every thing will be alright
But deep down I know it won’t be
Cause I can feel what my eyes can’t see
I’d rather pretend everything’s alright
This way I won’t have to cry at night
Cause thoughts of you make me smile
So I think of you all the while
You’re what gets me through a day
Cause I think of things I’ll finally get to say
I won’t have to hide my feelings anymore
And ill tell you how high my heart tends to soar
Only when I’m with you do I feel fine
So I wait until the day you become mine
