Today was utterly boring. Really, it was.. I was forced to wake up at 3 in the morning by my mother's shreaks. She ran into my room yelling, "GET DRESSED! HURRY AND GET DRESSED!!" My eyes were barly open when my blankets were flying off my bed by her hand, then she ran out of the room. I came around quickly when the icey air hit my skin. Sitting up proved itself to be quite difficult. It took me no time to run to the closet and get some clothes on. I ran out into the living room to find out what was going on. My mother saw me and told me to grab my car keys and a pair of shoes in such a way I didn't want to wait another second. When I came back into the living room she was in the kitchen. Her voice soared through the air saying, "Make sure you have a coat and shoes on!" So I ran back to my room to grab my nice long black coat and put them on. Then my mother rushed out of the kitchen with a medium blue cooler in her hands. "Here. This should be enough for a couple days." She pushed me outside. As I entered my burgendy 2000 Hundai Elantry, she told me, "Don't ever come back to this house. It'll endanger all of us." She shut my car door. In complete confusion, I pulled out of the drive way and drove down the road. Questions like, "What did I do?" and "What did she mean?" ran through my head. I drove for about an hour and pulled into a Wal-Mart parking lot. I opened the cooler she gave to me. It was full of food, from apples ot sandwiches. She even gave me juice boxes instead of just water. Then I saw a note taped to the inside of the lid.
Snow, I'm sorry I didn't tell you this until now, and I'm sorry for not telling you this in person. You're not our daughter. Our daughter died at birth. She had a weak heart. But we didn't want that. We didn't wand to even believe that was possible. The next day we were offered another child. She wasn't ours, but she needed a family. The only catch was that she was never to be found out by the government. You see, the child was different from everybody else. How, we were never told. And, being my husband was in the military, we thought it was perfect. After all the best place to hide something is right in front of them. So we took the child. That inocent child was you. You had no choice in the game of fate, and we didn't want you to carry the burden, so we hid it. But you were found out. Not knowing what might happen to you, we want you to run. But always remember, we love you. Love, Mom & Dad
With tears in my eyes, I folded the letter up and put it in my jeans' pocket. Then I closed the cooler and drove off. I didn't know exactally what was going on, but I had a clue now, and I wasn't about to let the government win..
Ok.. So that didn't really happen, but it was interesting, you have to admit that. Truthfully, I woke up at about noon. Cleaned my room some and let my brother play some of my video games. Becca called and we decided to hang out some. We ended up picking up Robert and Brandon. Robert bought cookie dough icecreams for all of us and we just hung out. I got home at about 9:30, took a shower, and came online. Told you it was boring..
