First off, I am glad it is journal and not diary. It is annoying when people call it that way. I dont know why, might be becasue many girls are discriminated against having such lurid books. Making it too girly for most average girls and an insult to most boys to be heard in the same sentence of one. So when the "journals " rebel and start there own inaminate objects nation and are suied, we know who to blame! Or do we?
Do we blame the stupid boys who made it inbareable to have diaries or the makers of the diaries? Or is it the girls we should balme who started the demand to make the books, so then it wouldn't be the journal maker's fault. Because they are trying to make a decent living and found the next best thing. No we shouldn't blame the girls. That wouldn't be fair! I cant think of why, but it isn't.
And what about the other people who record dreams or findings? Should we blame star trek for doing "Logs" or should we then blame the psycologists and weird mind reader synopsis people for recomending stress driven people to write out each upsurd dream or odd behavior? But if we are to blame psychologists for doing there job, then are we to blame a police man who eats donuts on the job? Are we to blame their teachers for teaching them that job, that will later be our downfall? Or the parents, who in a night of passion, created such beings, to teach such things? If we go back enough, are we to blame creation itself and if so are we to blame a god? What if we dont believe in a god? Who are we to blame then? Faulty condoms?
When we come back to our enslavement or debt to the journals, will they learn from our mistake? Or will they do the same discrimination with book marks? Pens? Whose to say that they wont be suied later in life also. And if so, wouldn't that make us at the bottom of the food chain than on the top. Some things to consider. So next time you see a pesky brat boy making fun of a innocent little girl about writing down her life in a little book, think twice before you point and laugh. For they are taking record of everything you do! (haha, bad pun)
